I started with the fire department in October, 1980 as a call firefighter. I was hired as a full time firefighter in October 1986. I became a career level firefighter; I was already an EMT Basic at the time of my hire. In 1995, I became an EMT Intermediate which increased my medical knowledge and allowed me to use advanced life support measures. Over the years of service to Seabrook, I have completed many courses and certifications which allow me to fill the many roles of a Deputy Chief.
I was promoted to Deputy Chief in December 2002. I report directly to the Fire Chief while exercising my duties. I have many duties as the Deputy Chief; Fire Code Enforcement, Operations Officer supervising standard operating procedures for the the department. I supervise the Municipal Fire Alarm System, along with the Fire Alarm Superintendent. I am in charge of vehicle and building maintenance, also the procurement of both. My duties are many and varied as Deputy Chief. It is a pleasure to serve the Town of Seabrook and I will continue to do so to the best of my ability.
